*This listing is for the 6 polish collection set. There are separate listings to purchase each polish individually*

Y'all, I can't believe that HH is celebrating six years in business!! I know I say this all the time, but it absolutely wouldn't be possible without ALL of your love and support. For this collection, I made 3 of my favorite polishes (FLAKIESSSSSS) and the other 3 are what I consider the OG finishes that go back to what was most popular when I was first starting as a polish maker. I had a lot of fun with this collection and I hope you love the inspiration for each of the 6 polishes.

[meh-ta-noy-ah] (n.) the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life; spiritual conversion
Six years ago, I was still in the early stages of getting my life back. Prior to HH, I was in a very dark place and had been struggling with personal issues for years. When I started making polishes, I was less than two years into my new life and still working on figuring out who I was. One thing I knew without a doubt was that I love to create beautiful things and started pouring my energy into the world of indie polish. I tried nail art and I was horrendously awful at it (I'm pretty sure there are blackmail-worthy mani pics on my old personal Instagram account) Anyway, the past 6 years have definitely been a journey...HH and the indie community have helped me to grow professionally as well as personally. My heart, mind, and spirit have developed into something beautiful because of the polish world.
"Metanoia" is a black jelly packed with multichrome flakes in teal-purple-pink and violet-blue-red, iridescent flakes in purple-green-blue and clear holographic glitter.

[el-ee-sian] (adj) beautiful or creative; divinely inspired, peaceful and perfect
Is there anything more beautifully perfect than linear holo? I love deep, rich colors, especially PURPLES so this felt like the best polish for adding a perfect holo rainbow. Linear holo was one of the most popular finishes when I started HH and to be honest, I was not a fan. Not even a little bit. I have definitely developed a love for all the holo and I enjoy the simple beauty of a good linear holo from time to time.
"Elysian" is a rich indigo filled with linear holo

[may-rah-kee] (v.) to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work
It goes without saying why I chose "Meraki" to name a polish. Everything I create is made with absolute love, whether it's a polish or acetone additive or lotion. I want all of my products to be unique and heartfelt. If you've received an order from me, I hope you've felt the love I put into every last detail. Not gonna lie- there have been times where I've had a bunch of orders to ship before going to bed and thought "dang it'd be so much easier if I didn't write a note for each customer or carefully wrap every product in tissue paper" but I always do in hopes that the extra time and love will make someone's day a little brighter because y'all have certainly done that for me over the years!
"Meraki" is a raspberry jelly filled with iridescent violet-pink-green shifting shimmer, violet-pink-gold multichrome flakes, and pink-gold-green iridescent flakes

[yoo-noy-uh] (n.) a pure and well-balanced mind; a good spirit
Ahhh, the squishy jelly. One of the OG's in my opinion... this takes me back. Glitter jellies were my first love, as both an indie lover and maker. There is just something sooo good about all the buildable squish that makes up a glitter jelly polish. It requires the perfect balance of pigment and glitters...you have to use just the right amount so you aren't fishing for glitters but can still see all the lower layers of glitter goodness. Sparkles, dimensions, and jelly squish always make me happy!
"Eunoia" is an ultramarine blue jelly filled with a mix of holo and metallic glitters in blue, purple, teal, and pink and a hint of violet-pink-green-gold iridescent flakes

[hue-gah] (n.) the ritual of enjoying life's simple pleasures
Sometimes, ya just need a soft color with a simple smattering of delicate flakies and a little holo sparkle. This polish reminds me of snuggling up on a rainy day with a chenille blanket and a good book...or Netflix series. It's a reminder that sometimes we have to stop and enjoy the little things even when we have 59,572 things to do!
"Hygge" is a soft periwinkle kissed with iridescent flakes in pink, blue, violet, and aqua, tiny lavender holo glitters, and silver holo micro-shreds

[ke-fi] (n.) the spirit of joy, enthusiasm, high spirits, and frenzy in which good times and passion for life are expressed with an abundance of excitement, happiness, and fun
Look at this polish! It's definitely happy and fun yeah? It sums up the past 6 years of HH and making polishes. There has been joy, enthusiasm, and moments of absolute frenzy. Even with the craziness and exhaustion that comes with running HH, at the end of the day, I still have the passion to do it all again tomorrow because I love it! Thank y'all for being here to celebrate the good times and share in the friendship and happiness that polish brings all of us!
"Kefi" is a white crelly sprinkled with a rainbow of neon glitters

All of Heather's Hues polishes are vegan, cruelty-free, and 5-free. means that they do NOT contain 5 of the harsh toxic chemicals that many mainstream polishes do. The 5 nasty chemicals that are NOT in H.H. polishes are DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and camphor.
The following ingredients are in all Heather's Hues polishes:
Nitrocelluose, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol, and ethyl alcohol. Each bottle also contains two stainless steel mixing balls.
HH polishes may also include FDA approved colorants, PET glitters, mica and/or flakies, silica, calcium sodium silicate, aluminum, tin oxide, iron oxides, FD&C lakes, D&c lakes, iron blue, manganese violet, titanium dioxide, ferric ferrocyanide, ultramarines; Holographic polishes may contain holo dust, a Spectraflair alternative, or Spectraflair.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS OF A SPECIFIC POLISH, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME! I can be reached by direct message on my Facebook and Instagram as well as by email. My email address is HLW117@comcast.net.
I always use the highest quality cosmetic-grade ingredients from reputable suppliers for my polishes. Each and every polish is hand-mixed by me personally in a clean and sanitary environment. Almost every polish is made to order. I usually only mix large batches of polish a day or two prior to new collection releases.

Indie polishes are quite different from mainstream polishes. They are made and bottled with love! You'll find there is many more beautiful options when it comes to types of indie polishes. There are also some helpful hints that apply to indie polishes. First, you should always let your bottles of polish reach room temperature before opening them (especially in cold weather months). Next, please ALWAYS use 2 or more coats of a quality basecoat before applying polishes. ***DUE TO THE HIGH PIGMENTATION OF SOME POLISH COLORS, NAIL STAINING MAY OCCUR*** (This is why using a quality basecoat is so important). Also, you may find it helpful to set your bottle of polish upside down for about 10 minutes before use, then roll it around in your hands. ***SOME OF THE HEAVIER GLITTERS MAY SETTLE TO THE BOTTTOM OF THE BOTTLE*** This is why the upside-down trick is helpful...it will reduce the amount of fishing for glitters, especially the heavy glitters. A quality topcoat is also recommended to help deter wear to your polish and smooth out large glitters. Finally, please feel free to offer feedback to me. As an indie maker, I love to hear what my customers love, don't like, would like more/less of!! You can always email me at HLW117@comcast.net, message me through Etsy, on Facebook at Heather's Hues or my Facebook group Heather's HueTpies, and on Instagram @heathers_hues.....please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns!!
